Create Client – Project(s)

To get started with using “Saved Projects” feature, you will need to first create a client and add project(s) in the respective client.

Here are the details you will need to provide to create a project:

  • Client Name under which the project will be created
  • Project Name

Note: Both the client name and project name must be unique.

Creating Client

To create a client, you can go to the projects page. On the left side, click the “Add new client” button which is on top of the client-projects list. This will open a popup where you can enter the client you want to create. Once you have done the needful, the client will be successfully created. You can also create a client(s) while creating a project. See below for how to do that.

Creating Project

For creating a project under a client, you can choose any of the following ways:

  • Project Page:
    On the project page, you can create a project by clicking the “Add Project” button which is above the list of client and its projects. Upon clicking, you will be shown a popup where you select the existing client and enter a valid project name. Once you have done that, click the “Add” button which will add the project under the client successfully.
  • Single Product Page :
    You can also create a project at the time of saving a product. When you think you want to add a particular fabric/trim/sample into a project, simply click the “Save To Project” button that’s below the “Download” button. On clicking it, a popup will appear where you can either choose “Add to new project of existing client” or “ Add to new client- project ”. If you choose “Add to new project of existing client”, select the existing client and enter the new project name. Similarly, if you choose “Add to new client-project”, enter the new client and project you want to create under that client.
    Note: Save Project Popup will only appear when you have selected the appropriate order type and entered a quantity.
  • Cart Page:
    If you are on the cart page and want to save the product(s) in a new client-project, then simply tick the checkbox against the product. Once you do that, the “Save to Project” button on top will be enabled. On clicking it, the Save Project popup will appear. The rest of the procedure is the same as mentioned in the single product page section. Again, when you save the product in a new project, the project will be automatically created under the mentioned client.

Once your client-project has been made, you can head on to the Projects page and view it.
